MATSU high-grade men's walking stick with J grip. The J grip can be hung on the elbow like an umbrella handle. The grip is made of aluminum molded into the shape of J and wrapped in mesh leather. To weave the mesh leather evenly into a curved grip requires the skill of a master craftsman. The neck is machined from solid brass which has strength and beauty. The maple shaft is repeatedly painted urushi (lacquer) and sharpened, and finally polished to perfection.
